Early College Program

Earn Associate Degrees and Vocational Certifications while still in high school

Through a special partnership with Bay College of Michigan, all NSA Students, from grades 9 to 12 and post-graduate, have the opportunity to enroll in hundreds of dual-credit college courses and certificate programs with the ability to earn an Associate of Arts & Sciences degree, or vocational certification, and high school diploma concurrently. NSA graduates can also benefit from guaranteed transfer agreements with 9 colleges and universities.

Students can achieve the following Bay College degrees and certifications while enrolled at Northland Scholars Academy:

Associate in Arts Degree (AA)

The Associate in Arts degree is primarily designed for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university. Students should work closely with an academic advisor to select courses needed for their intended major at the four-year university they plan to attend. In addition to preparation for transfer, this program is designed to provide students with a strong general education background.

Students who receive an Associate in Arts degree will also satisfy the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) listed in the catalog. Click here to view Bay College catalogs. The 2016-17 catalog becomes effective as of August 1, 2016. Associate in Arts (AA) degrees include:
